REPORT


HISTORY: Pain status post punching injury.

FINDINGS: There is a slightly comminuted fracture of the base of the ring finger metacarpal yielding a marked loss of joint congruity at the carpometacarpal articulation. There is a subtle nondisplaced fracture at the base of the ring finger metacarpal. There is no associated loss of small finger carpometacarpal joint congruity.

IMPRESSION: Ring finger CMC fracture dislocation as described.
