REPORT


HISTORY: Pain in right hand.

FINDINGS: There is a minimally displaced vertically oriented fracture of the volar medial aspect of the distal radius with intra-articular extension. There is no dorsal tilt or coronal shift. The remaining osseous structures are without acute fracture. There is mild degenerative change at the basal joint.

IMPRESSION: Intra-articular fracture at the volar medial aspect of the distal radius, likely a reverse Barton type injury.
