<p>Specialized training series developed to prepare Residents and practicing radiologists to</p>
<p>be &ldquo;on call&rdquo; for the emergency department via exposure to the most likely emergency diagnoses.</p>

REPORT 


HISTORY:  Pain after an inversion injury with the foot in plantar flexion.


FINDINGS: There is a mildly displaced fracture of the anterior process of the calcaneus, visible only on the lateral view. No other fracture is visualized. The ankle mortise and ankle joint space are preserved.

IMPRESSION: Acute fracture of the anterior process of the calcaneus.
