<p>Specialized training series developed to prepare Residents and practicing radiologists to</p>
<p>be &ldquo;on call&rdquo; for the emergency department via exposure to the most likely emergency diagnoses.</p>

REPORT


HISTORY: Right ring finger pain and limited range of motion status post boxing injury.

FINDINGS: There is a dorsally displaced intra-articular fracture through the dorsal aspect of the base of the ring distal phalanx with overlying soft tissue swelling, most consistent with a mallet finger injury.

IMPRESSION: Right ring finger bony mallet injury with fracture as described.
